The Best Children’s Bible Ever
The Jesus Storybook Bible: Every Story Whispers His Name
When my son was first born, one of my most treasured memories was watching his daddy read him stories from The Jesus Storybook Bible. A few times I caught tears streaming down his face, reading to our son about the “Never Stopping, Never Giving Up, Unbreaking, Always and Forever Love” of God. Although baby’s can’t read, they definitely respond to someone reading to them.
I came across The Jesus Storybook Bible long before I was a mom. Someone suggested I read it during my devotional time with God, and when I did I fell in love. Not only are the illustrations fabulously vibrant and creative but the way it’s written as a cohesive story brings a whole new understanding to what the Bible really is— a bunch of smaller stories telling one large story— a true story. A love story. I’m not much of a cryer, but I definitely have had to pull out the tissue box a few times reading it. The Jesus Storybook Bible is just that beautiful. I knew that whenever I became a mom I would use this children’s bible with my kids.

Now that my son is a little older (13 months) we have to monitor him with books because he likes to rip and chew on the pages (even board books). But it’s so beautiful to see that he always chooses The Jesus Storybook Bible out of all the books he has, all the time. It amazes me. There could be 10 of his favorite books all laid out and this one beats them all. I hope he will enjoy reading it as much as I have when he gets older.
The Jesus Storybook Bible has helped me grow in my faith and gain a greater understanding of the love of God and how He’s constantly pursuing us. I hope it does the same for you and your kids too!
Happy reading!
Right there with ya,
Christine from
