Save Money and Time on Groceries:
Why this Mom runs on Amazon Fresh
I used to spend a ton of time grocery shopping which usually meant a ton more money too. And that’s before I had a baby. Throw a baby in the mix and now there’s a whole new meaning to the phrase “Time is Money.” Let’s just say grocery shopping with a baby was the worst! That is, until I discovered Amazon Fresh. It’s seriously the best thing ever and here’s why.

1. Time is priceless!
It saves me about 3.5 hours. I dread going grocery shopping. I feel like I have to plan ahead like I’m planning a wedding— figure out a 3.5 hour time block that works best with my schedule, make a grocery list, organize the grocery list by food section so
when I’m there it’s easy to remember things, prepare the baby, prepare the baby bag, etc etc etc. From the time I get everything ready to the time I get to the store is at least an hour. Then it takes an hour to go through all the aisles and get everything needed (and more), checkout, get the baby back in the car, drive back home, carry all the groceries upstairs and put them away. Yada yada yada. It’s a whole production.
With Amazon Fresh there is literally NONE of that. I don’t have to block out a huge chunk of time during the day to go shopping, I don’t have to lug all the groceries into my car and up my stairs, and I don’t even have to make a grocery list. I can add grocery items into my cart as I think of them OR if I have 15 minutes or so I can do it all in one sitting. And if I forget something, I can just add it to the list!
2. It saves me $$$
I used to spend almost $100 more than what I should simply because I browsed items in the grocery store. With Amazon Fresh I am less likely to spend more on random items because I’m not strolling through the grocery store seeing all the goodies and things on sale!
In order to keep produce fresh, we order groceries weekly. Since we have amazon prime, the fee for Amazon Fresh is only $14.99/month (you can get a trial here for FREE though!) and if you order over $50 (which we always do), delivery is free, so if you divide the $14.99 by 4 weeks in a month that’s about $3.75 you’re paying for it to be delivered, which is cheaper than other grocery delivery companies
If you don’t have amazon prime, try it here 30 days for free!
And the items are comparable, if not cheaper, to items at my local grocery store! Boom!
3. Sometimes they give you cool reusable bags
You can always use them as coolers for the beach, a picnic, or a road trip and when you’re done leave them out when you get your next delivery and they will take them to reuse them.
4. Free water!
Sometimes if they run out of ice packs you get free frozen water bottles! (I got 12 one time!)
5. Awesome customer service!

First off, I hate talking to automated voice messaging systems and its even worse if you have to wait on hold forever. That’s NOT the case with Amazon Fresh! You speak with an actual person — a NICE person! AND you’re on the phone with them within a minute or 2 of the call! That’s a breath of fresh air.
If they get your order wrong, or contents get messed up during delivery, they reimburse you! And sometimes they even give you a $10 credit! Of course, don’t use and abuse this privilege— practice honesty and integrity! They will catch on if you’re lying to them and will cut off your account.
6. Delivery options galore!
You can choose when you want them to deliver way in advance. They can deliver whether you’re home or not, and you can give them special instructions on where to deliver (if you’re not home).
Sounds amazing? It is! Give it a try for FREE here! And let us know what you think!
